Reaffirming My Opinion

 Every once in a while I like to remind myself why I love Younique products.  It's hard when you use such high-quality products and get used to them to remember that they are the best.  So when I find a comparable competitor's product on sale or part of a deal, I'll buy a different brand just to do my own comparison test.  I thought I'd start sharing a few of these here on the blog.  

So I've heard women rave about this very inexpensive mascara.  They swear it is as good or better than the expensive, high-end brands.  I saw it on sale for just a few bucks (literally) a few days ago and decided to order one just to test it out.  Wow!  I was supremely disappointed.  I could really tell the difference immediately.  It was okay.  Like average.  But nowhere near the length and thickness I get with the 4D.  To be fair I used the Younique lash primer with both products and curled my lashes with my heated lash curler before use on both.  Here are my results:

Can you guess which eye has the bargain brand and which has the 4D?  I put two coats of mascara on each eye.  

So the good news is that the 4D mascara is definitely worth the price.  You can have cheap, meh lashes or expensive WOW lashes.  I'll go for the WOW factor every time!
